Your Kitchen is where your self-nourishment begins…

I didn’t always take good care of myself. I was a young designer in NYC and my sole focus was on the success of my business. Every day, I had an Iced coffee with 4 sugars and a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast.

One day, while bending to pack and ship an order, my heart went into an accelerated rate and I was rushed to the hospital. I was diagnosed with something called, SVT.  Supra-ventricular tachycardia is when your heart can beat up to 280 beats per minute. It’s different than panic attacks, and scarier than any other health issue I ever faced.  When I got SVT, I knew I needed to take my health much more seriously, especially since I didn’t want to go on lifelong heart medication or have surgery.

I started in my Kitchen…

Since I realized that I more likely to have SVT when I was constipated, stressed, tired or ate large carb or sugary meals, I started a gluten free, sugar free diet. This wasn’t easy for a girl who loved pasta and cookies. BUT, you just can’t achieve your goals when you are SICK and don’t have a healthy relationship with FOOD.

Eating in a way that is healed, whole and conscious, will help you elevate your whole health, allowing you to meet your business and personal growth goals, and even radiate on a higher frequency, which in turn can help you to help others heal.

Today, I thrive on a gluten free, white sugar free diet, I have learned to make the BEST chocolate chip cookies and many other ridiculously delicious baked goods that are actually GOOD for you. I use food to help me achieve my life goals instead of be a source of illness and self-criticism.

I help people with SVT look at their relationship with food as a healing tool and have written an e-Book called The SVT Prevention Diet. I also help moms, creative entrepreneurs and anyone who is looking to improve their relationship with food, and self-nourishment.

Your relationship with food is a vehicle to help you achieve your goals.

Your Self-care starts with every bite!

It’s taken me a long time to organize my kitchen, and my food in a way that speaks to my intuition, my needs, my cravings and my health. My recipes are not fancy… they are from my kitchen…a mom with 2 boys. They are fast, gluten free, refined sugar free, and practical. I am a super busy woman just like you, and it is not my goal to spend all day cooking. Yet, I NEED to eat healthy to live a life of SVT prevention, and feeling as healthy as I can. xo enjoy!

My Recipes

My recipes are all naturally gluten free. I have non-celiac gluten sensitivity and believe gluten plays a major role in SVT and related anxiety.

I don’t eat refined sugar and only cook with honey, maple syrup, coconut palm sugar, and brown rice syrup.

My Choices

While I do eat occasional meat, its very rare. I opt for legumes and veggies as much as possible.
